Previously, the only indexing available for these WTM patents consisted of keyword terms in the ST (Supplementary Terms) field. The ST field typically contains the Latin names of plants and animals used in creating the preparations and remedies documented in these patents.
The recent addition of this enhanced indexing gives you many more avenues to follow when exploring the unusual content of the WTM patent collection.
To identify WTM patents enhanced with value-added indexing, look for the terms “nosection" and/or "nonindexed" in the custom display field File Segment (FS).
